Based on intention for providing the best service for users Google now providing a search option in Google result page, a small text link on top side of result page now will be appearing for every term you search in Google.com, this will give an option or alternative for Google users to find the most accurate information beside the default page.

In addition since finding information evolving filtering and refining the result to get us the most accurate and complete information this option is what Google set up for its users for that purpose.
And how about SEO, will this new feature affect to SEO? One thing for sure this option doesn’t relegate the roles of link building campaign and fresh contents. In other word this option doesn’t change the SEO advice we’ve been familiar with.

I personally don’t use Google options. The default homepage is good enough. I always manage to find the content that I want just by making a simple search. Perhaps the options will be useful for more tech savvy people who really wants to refine their searches.
In terms of SEO, I believe nothing much changes – link building still works!
