After posted about “Tools To Discover Who Are Not Following Us In Twitter“, so I decided to make a clarification that I didn’t mean to say that people we follow must followed us in return, no! You can follow whoever you want, no matter are they following you or not. But the post means to serves those who want to know people that don’t follow them and want to get rid of them off their list.
And now I would like to reveal the reasons as to why people don’t follow us in Twitter, these are only general reason, and usually be found to some who wish to following people they feel worth following and it’s based my own experience too. Have a nice read.
Why people don’t follow you in Twitter.
1. Perhaps you’re a spammer, people hate spammer. I know Twitter can be used to gain traffic, but don’t just post your link there, you get to create a useful discussion that will attract attention from your followers. In result they will be glad to follow you and close to you.
2. You don’t socialize with followers, the only message comes out from you daily is your blog’s links, this will upset anyone and will effect losing followers. They need to know who you are and what you like or dislike. They don’t need links!
3. You don’t put Follow me On Twitter badge or invitation in your blog, how are you supposed to have more followers if you don’t provide a shortcut for anyone to find your Twitter? Thus put one, by this your blog visitors will be easy to follow you.
