If you are having trouble to save tags because of plugin DB Cache is not compatible with the latest version of WordPress 2.8 and above, you can use DB Cache Reloaded, this plugin is an updated version of DB Cache after the authors of DB Cache (Dmitry Svarytsevych) abandoned his plugin and did not update it to be compatible with WordPress 2.8.
