Purplesn0w is an application to unlock iPhone 3GS. It’s different than demon which usually takes any resources and there is no a task added to baseband in purplesn0w. It’s very close to a true unlock. Purplesn0w will patch three files such as CommCenter, lockdownd, and your wildcard activation plist. But there’s not hacktivation support this unlocking yet.
