It’s a human nature to make a mistake, writing and sending an email is no exception. You and I probably ever faced the situation on where we are forced to scratching our hair because of we just sent an email to wrong person or it’s right person but the email contains mistypo or grammatical error.
And we wish we have a time machine to bring us back to few minutes a go to re-edit the email and check everything to make sure everything written accordingly.
Google knows our nature well, therefore he created a tool to helps us out from this trouble. It’s called an Undo Send button, new feature of Gmail Labs. It’s programmed to holds the email for 5 seconds once you click on “Send” button.
In 5 seconds period we are given a chance to click the “Undo” button in order to drag back the sent email for us to make any necessary corrections. After everything properly fixed then we can send the error free email to the right person, isn’t that wonderful?
Since you have a picture on what this feature is all about and how it works. Now it’s time to get this button enabled to your own purpose.
Login to your Gmail and go to Gmail Labs and search for Undo Send, and set the feature to “Enable” option then save it, like in the following image:
Now you will be seeing “Undo” button each time you send an email, like in this picture:
Don’t forget to click the Undo before due time or else you miss the chance to retrieve the sent email.
That’s all and see u in the next post!
