University Interscholastic League: UIL Realignment 2010: Finally the familiar ground as it is known as part of District 20-30 to be the new place for the two Palestine School districts, it’s the news which was released this morning, In the University Interscholastic League’s 2010-2012 realignment. So what will happen then? Westwood and Palestine will be mixed by Groesbeck, Madisonville, Fairfield and Mexia, the four years a go it was the same district before the last alignment
For football, in Class 2A, in the first year that the classification is split into two divisions, Elkhart is in Division I and Frankston is in Division II.
The Longview Lobos, will comeback to class 5A for the next 2 seasons at least, but after they have made back-to-back trips to the state championship game in Class 4A
LongView was moved to District 11-5A on Monday with with the University Interscholastic League’s biennial realignment, which fell to Lake Travis in the Class 4A Division I state title game in 2008 and 2009, The Lobos will play in a district with Tyler Lee, DeSoto, Mesquite, Mesquite Horn and North Mesquite. District 9-A Division I — Big Sandy, Hawkins, Maud, Overton, Carlisle and James Bowie
District 12-A Division II — Beckville, Union Hill, Mount Enterprise and Tenaha
