Of course most of you own Twitter account and would likely be following someone and be followed by someone, it’s a human nature to get something in return for what he gave, that applies in Twitter too. We expect someone we follow, followed us back.
But if they don’t follow you, or they suddenly stop to following you for some reasons naturally we would likely do the same as they did. But the problem is we don’t know who have stopped follow us in Twitter. Well, I know a little secret to discover who have not being our followers anymore.
There are 2 free tools that services to this purpose.
1. http://friendorfollow.com/ this tool will display list of ones that not following you, just enter your Twitter ID in blank form and hit “Submit”
List of people who are not following you will be displayed completely, so you now notice that the ones you think followed you, they don’t! Like this screen shot:
Now it’s your turn to decide whether you want to keep following them or not following them, but the flaw in this tool is we are not provided with automatic remove tool, so to have this un-followers people removed we get to do it manually, just hope the number is few.
2. http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/, Twitter Karma works like Friendorfollow.com but it;s more advanced and user-friendly, beside checking not following people you would also able to remove them automatically but the flaw of this tool, we get to give our Twitter account: our password. If you decide to use this tool the risk is yours.
And after fill the required form hit “Whack!” and you will be presented with the list of both people who follow or not follow you, and there is option to mass remove them all or only they who don’t follow you.
