Nearly three hours after releasing the iOS 5.1 Beta 2, Apple put the latest iTunes on the table, iTunes 10.5.2. The latest version of the digital media player application brings the awaited improvement over iTunes Match and audio distortion fix while importing certain CDs.

Remember about a month a go, Sony announced their official PLaystation app for iPhone? Now the app is already available and ready to download on iTunes.

The app is free to download, just been released January, 11 and in version 1.0. The size of the Playstation app is 11.9 MB and it’s available in the following languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish. The requirements to download and install this app is, you must have iPhone, iPod touch and iPad running on iOS 4.0 or higher.

Apple released iTunes 10.1 for both Windows and Mac OS X, this release is indicating that iOS 4.2 is on its way. Because you need iTunes 10.1 to update to the coming firmware version.

Let’s say there is an iPhone app in iTunes that you desperately want to have it installed on your device, but your current iOS firmware version does not meet the standard requirement set by the app, for example you are using iOS 4.0 and the app needs iOS 4.1 to run. You are left with two choices, upgrade your iOS firmware or forget the app.

But it’s past, before the jailbreak app, called Firmware Changer, appeared from ModMyi repository to help you out from the said situation. I know creating a custom ringtones using iTunes  8 or higher is painless process, yet there are several steps to be done, sometimes they are confusing for some people. iTunes account has been hacked as being reported by many iTunes users that they have been charged hundred of dollars for the apps they never ever purchased! So far, no body knows whose behind this iTunes hacking activity.

But several web sites I red tend to relate with the Vietnamese app developer called Thuat Nguyen, who have its 40 apps book jumped up to top 50 books list for Books Category, when previously they were unpopular apps with no user ratings at all.

It is suspicious condition considering the apps have very poor rating and nobody seems interested to purchase yet all of sudden they all increased and dominate the top of  iTunes charts. So there is a possibility that the app developer hacked people (iTunes users account) account and utilize the accounts to buy his/her own app to skyrocket it to the top list of the charts of iTunes

So now as a preventive actions to protect your iTunes account being hacked, do the following:

• Change your iTunes account password
• Scan your app purchases history, and report to Apple soon if you found something fishy there
• Remove your payment details and set to NONE temporarily until Apple fix this problem

Now you will be seeing Wi-Fi Sync listed on Cydia and it’s created to sync your jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices using iTunes on Wi-Fi network. App Store rejected the app at the moment it’s submitted to the App Store. Now it’s available on Cydia and to get the app you need to purchase it for $9.99.

But one thing you need to know to use Wi-Fi sync it’s required to install free client app on Mac OS X. And for Windows app version will be available soon

Before purchase Wi-Fi Sync, you have to have your device jailbroken using Spirit.

Apple banned jailbroken iPhones users, so beware jailbrokers, it might be you next time. I got this news from Remondpie yesterday, for security reasons Apple has decided to disable a certain iPhone ID to access App store via iTunes and it was Hashim who got the first Apple’s punch, when he was trying to access App store he got this message:

Sheriff Hashim, is known as iPhone hacker and he found a new exploit for the baseband 05.12.0 and he got banned now, another iPhone hacker who got the same punch was iH8sn0w the owner of Sn0wBreeze, right after he revealed an exploit known as XEMN

This is not a good news considering having a jailbroken iPhone in hand will give us bigger ability to our iPhone, for we can shop to third party services like Rock Your Phone and Cydia, while still gaining full access to App Store and iTunes,

It seems this is only happening to a few users at the moment, but it could well be Apple testing out a method of booting jailbreakers from the App Store en masse, since there is no further reports from other jailbrokers and unlockers that their accounts have been disabled by Apple

Could it be because there is a relation with virus’s attack to jailbroken iPhones with OpenSSH enabled and still using default root password to get access to personal information?

If you are currently experiencing Locked iTunes Library File problem that makes your iTunes unable to load, then you need to read this step by step tutorial in order to fix the problem.

By the way the cause of the said problem could be vary such as:

1. Updating to latest iTunes version
2. Move the music files out of the folder onto the desktop
3. The problem only occurs if we use Accounts that have Administrator privileges.
4. After uploaded iTunes purchases when the program crashed. After restarting my computer the problem appears
5. And so on

So here is the steps to Fix Locked iTunes Library File:

1. Copy your ‘iTunes Music Library’ and ‘iTunes Music Library.xml’ out of your Music/iTunes folder. Place the two files on your Desktop.
2. Delete those two files from your Music/iTunes folder. Now the only thing in there will be your ‘iTunes Music’ folder (unless you keep that somewhere else, of course).
3. Start iTunes. It opens up empty. Now quit iTunes. Notice it has created new, empty ‘iTunes 4 Music Library’ and ‘iTunes Music Library.xml’ files.
4. Delete those new files. Copy your old files from your Desktop back into your Music/iTunes folder.
5. Start iTunes again.
