I opened my email two days a go and found Chitika sent me an email in my inbox, the email contains tip to generate more click in PPC business, the tips are so simple yet very useful and make sense. I believe experienced PPC players use this to increase click-through rate and you should consider using them too, here are the tips:

1. Go Blue: For 15 years now, the human brain has been taught to click on blue links. Blue links have higher CTR (our eye tracking studies have proven this). If your website does not use blue links, you are leaving money on the table.
2. Go White: A non-white background might look cool (specially with kids), but it is completely non-intuitive for advertising and making money.
3. Go Green: And finally, if you are looking for a minty-fresh ad unit that produces some nice green dollars, check out the new mega unit from chitika (see image below)

Few days a go I received a tempting email from Chitika that from now until March 31, Chitika will double my commission for every purchase occurred via my affiliate or in ad spent. It’s because I’ve been inactive for quite long, looks like Chitika gives special concern to some lazy publishers as I am:)). And here’s an excerpt of notification email from Chitika

It looks like you aren’t currently running Chitika ads, so we want to offer a special bonus package to encourage you to get started.

From now through March 31st, Chitika will double your earnings (up to a maximum of $50). For example, if you earn $40, then Chitika will pay you a total of $80. If you earn $60, we’ll pay you a total of $110 ($60 + the maximum $50).

So don’t misunderstand the reason I got a double commission not because achievement I made, but inactivity:D

For your information the reason of my inactivity is because I am not too excited in marketing Chitika ads because the ads only appear towards US and CA visitors which landed to my pages/blog from search engine. While most of my blogs use Indonesia language and naturally my visitors ain’t American and Canadian! Thus, how can I get revenue from the ads which is invisible at my visitors eyes?

But the email brought a good news anyway. Therefore if you’re American or Canadian who landed to this page from search engines and able to see the ads as I couldn’t see them and want to help me earn a double commissions, buy the ads please:D.
