Shannon Meehan, Beyond Duty: Life On The Front Line

Shannon Meehan authored a book called Beyond Duty: Life On The Front Line, with his co-author Roger Thompson. Shanon Meehan was Iraq war veteran which suffers PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) for his decision during his duty in Iraq that took the lives of innocent Iraqi civilians. Albeit he admits that it’s not easy to forget and it makes him feel so guilty, good for him for not taking the wrong decision and guiding his life in creative direction

Shannon Meehan Beyond Duty: Life On The Front Line

When he and his men were trying to clear a life-threatening area house by house, he used loudspeakers and Arabic translators to inform anyone inside the houses to come out as the air-strike bomb the area. In the book Beyond Duty he wrote about his struggle with the follow through of his decision

Meehan and Roger Thompson are scheduled to appear at a book signing tomorrow in Johnstown, Pa.
