Download Redsn0w 0.9 Final For Mac And Windows, the tool that is widely known to unlock, jailbreak and also customize both iPhone and iPod touch which is Redsn0w is finally launched, it’s version 0.9, in addition using Redsn0w 0.9 you can do several customization to your iPhone such as customizing recovery logos, boot logos and also “Verbose” boot, and the tool is a standalone which means you don’t need iTunes or no custom IPSWs to use it

Redsn0w 0.9 supports:

■All iPhones and iPod touches (still a tethered-only JB for late-model devices though)
■Apple firmware 3.0 and 3.1.2
■Windows and Mac OSX (x86)

Redsn0w is also able to handle iPhone 2G to unlock the carrier by installing BootNeuter utility, and for the 3G and 3GS, then you must use Cydia after your iPhone is jailbroken to start installing Ultrasn0w in baseband 04.26 or Blacksn0w in baseband 05.11

Unlike Pwnage that requires a system restore, Redsnow doesn’t, it’s purely a standalone program, and PwnageTool could be preventing your baseband from being upgrade in firmware upgrading process, by giving you unlock, Redsn0w won’t bother your baseband at all yet it won’t preserve it during an upgrade too

ADVICE: DO NOT USE REDSN0W AFTER DOING A STOCK APPLE UPGRADE TO 3.1.2 IF YOU NEED A CARRIER UNLOCK AND ARE CURRENTLY USING BASEBAND 04.26 OR EARLIER. The key part of that advice is “do not do a stock Apple upgrade to 3.1.2”.

Wow I just jailbroke using this. I didn’t know it was just recently released. I just jailbroke because I want my iPod to look like an iPad XD I didn’t know Shrink was not free.

worked great for me, I Updated my iphone 3G using apple’s update in itunes
to 3.1.2. I then ran redsn0w on my mac and a minute later my phone was jailbroken and works just fine, It also gave me root access using disk aid which blackrain does not unless you run afc2add in cydia.
