Obama School Speech Video – Obama Speech To Kids
Here’s the Obama school speech video which considered danger to kids because of pushing a socialist agenda, it’s also considered an offensive to parents as his overall message to encourage kids to study hard, stay in school and take personal responsibility. In this video he also advice children not to waste their spare times watching television nor playing game console like Xbox or such. He raised many critiques because of this, I personally don’t get it why, but here’s the Obama school speech video:

I don’t understand what the problem was with the video being shown at schools. I’m not an Obama fan, but whoever it happens to be at the time, we still should respect the president. I didn’t see any kind of political promotion in the video, so I don’t know what everyone’s problem was…
The only thing Mr. President is trying to do is to encourage the kids to staying in school and getting up with more education.
Americans are liberated what more is the president. Just never mind about him. He never had an xbox before. lol
I listened to the speech the other night. A great challenge was before the youth. It was timely that it was delivered on the onset of the school year where the minds of students are still in the moulding process for their journey to academic excellence. May I call our president a teacher-president. Those words are orientation links in the students aspiration for a successful school year.My teachers in the past dared us with those ( i may call it good adminition) reminders. I am doing it too to my students. At present I too is a teacher. Our president has just but given a timely advice to every student at these times of need. All of us parents ought to know the true meaning of education which one of them is the training of our youth for the joy of service in our country as a citizen and for a wider joy of service in the world to come.
Its quite evident what the American Public as well as the powers that be thought of President Obama and his address; “you need to be controlled!” Why are these individuals so afraid of the truth ??? No other president in the history of America has ever met such opposition, from the “other” party. It is truly a shame that we as a country cannot unite under our President for a concerted effort to bring us out of the duldrums of a true catastrophic economic upheaval.
And why can we not push aside our differences, because America is still the one of the most backward countries on this earth. With a mortality rate lower than some Third World countries we still fight our President’s plan to get close to some sort of Universal Health Plan, with the air we breath as filthy as a toilet we fight our President ’s movement toward cleaner air, with companies pilfering funds and doling out billion dollar bonuses to oil employees ,pharmaceutical ceo’s(handing out medicines that kill us daily ) and walkng with trillion dollars profits ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,etc, etc, etc, We chose to instead look at the person who may have enough insight to rectify some of these problems and create him as a “communistic socialist” for once we have a President who is “for the people” and our stinking rich , fellow Americans choose to pull him down instead of lift him to the heavens.
WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT AMERICA AND NOT THERE PERSONAL POCKETS, NOT US ,MY FRIENDS NOT US .
There’s nothing wrong for president support children school, even that’s really good
Mr. President is trying to encourage the children for better school education not a political promotion in the video.
I think he was telling those advices to the children in good intention, since today’s children determine the future.
Nice article..
thanks
I don’t understand either I don’t see anything wrong for a president who wants children to be better at school, may be I missed something, but it’s true there’s nothing wrong and I personally think that the words must be supported
The problem wasn’t so much that it was being shown at schools as what the content could have been. Apparently there were “after speech” activities that has things like “write a letter to yourself saying how you can help the president”. The problem with that is you are mixing political agenda into education, which is where indoctrination comes in. After reading the transcript I found that there really wasn’t anything that was objectionable or inappropriate in the speech.
(I did however find that it was revised from an another version)
The question then is…what was in the original speech and was there anything that was politically based in it? If there WAS political jargon in the original…then a new question of “why was it in there in the first place?” needs to be asked. (since it would have most likely never been revised if people had not made a fuss about it)
While those questions should be asked, the speech that was given was very appropriate for the situation and I think that goes without debate.
Quazza, what you heard was the original speech.
There was no revision, no matter what Fox News may try to tell you.
I don’t know what you are talking about Fox News for. It just shows your bias and prejudice since I mentioned nothing about them.
For your information I first heard about a revised version from the Chicago Tribune.

“Controversy over the plan to address children in kindergarten through 12th grade erupted last week after conservative commentators and some parents questioned whether Obama planned to “indoctrinate” the children with his political beliefs. Many critics softened their stance after the White House released the text Monday and revised speech materials.”
So…there ya go.
