If your mobile device is facilitated with HTML5 compliant browser then you might like this news, recently Youtube released their latest mobile website version of Youtube Mobile Site. Since it’s the latest version which means they are more additional cool features have been added, such as; more user friendly interface, more responsive touchscreen, surely high quality video streams included too!
This newest mobile product was firstly announced and demoed at the press event on Youtube HQ in California focusing for m.youtube.com usage, which is becoming the popular “place” for mobile device to watch and upload Video to Youtube. It’s clear that the Google wants everything free or at least developed via browser, so it’s not surprising they put Google voice desktop app on delay
Back to the issue, just after the news published on Youtube official blog, people then start to compare between this Youtube mobile with iPhone Youtube app. After watching the official video demo, we can tell the different, Youtube mobile is way better in quality streams rather than iPhone Youtube app. According to Mashable the reason why Youtube for mobile is producing a lot better quality streams, because it’s designed for modern networks, while iPhone app still stuck on old stream format for second generation networks

If things go well in the future, I mean that the whole web is optimized for mobile displays, I believe not just iPhone Youtube app become obsolete but all of mobile client apps too. Beside we don’t need to download or install apps that do little more than re-pointing us to a mobile version of that same web site.

Dude that’s awesome, HTML 5 is really looking neat. It’s nice though, that we can have those videos and websites that are fully interactive in a web 3.0 format, and they’re still search-able and link-able through google.
This looks great, is it in the app store yet as I couldn’t find it.
