You can make a video of yourself using Windows Movie Maker and it’s so easy and it’s free since this software is integrated on your Windows XP OS by default. And now I will explain step-by-step tutorial to capture your activities with Windows Movie Maker using Video device like Web Cam and here are the steps:
1. Open your Windows Movie Maker
2. And then chose “Capture From Video Device”:
3. You will be prompted to pick the devices you are going to use to record your video such video device, and the microphone volume level and then click “Next”:
4. And then name uncreated video file and place where you will save the video and click “Next”:
5. Then select the setting you will use to capture the video, the setting will determine the quality of your video, and “Next”:
6. Now start capturing your video, till you feel that the capturing should be “Finish”!
7. It’s done!

Note: with Windows Movie Maker you can also edit your video and make slideshows, music videos and other multimedia project.
