Google has upgraded Google Goggles to understand text in photos and translate it, if this is the first time you heard about the name then here is the short explanation. Google Goggles is the Google new search technology that makes you able to search images using your smartphones camera.
Just take the picture you found interesting using your phone and then ask Google, if it knows then you will be presented with search results concerning the picture

And now Google has released new version of Google Googles and introduced it at the Mobile World Congress, feature offered by this smart technology is the ability to texts in the photos and translate them in over 50 languages
But wait up, so far, it only supports translate from German to English and otherwise, but more languages will be supported in the future, which are the languages listed in Google Translate
Unfortunately only Android based phones and Android 1.6 or higher are compatible with Google Googgles currently, so iPhone users, wait a little while until Google come out with another update
Now let’s watch the demo video of Google Googles in action on MWC
Way to go Google !
I wonder why they picked German as the first language to go with!

Hopefully Google will make this technology available to the anti-spam companies as I would love there to be some way to elimitate all the emails I get which contain images full of sales text for a certain little blue tablet.
