Google is making a smart move by providing a Google Chrome Frame Plug-in to be used in Internet Explorer (IE), the intention of the frame for assisting IE users to have an experience of having speedy JavaScript engine and Chrome’s open technologies to Internet Explorer. With this strategy, indirectly Google has introduced the Chrome’s ability to IE users and gradually guide them to use Google Chrome as their default browser in the future. They will realize how their beloved IE is lack almost all most demanded features for a modern browser should has.
In other word this Google Chrome Frame plugin will open an access for Chrome to run inside Internet Explorer browser and preparing IE to be a web browsers that pass for modern web standards requirements for upcoming Google wave.
My second opinion is Google is not trying to make IE users to switch to their browser, but to get Microsoft to catch up with technology, right? :d
Google Chrome Frame
To enable Google Chrome Frame Plugin is adding a single tag to your pages and detect whether your users have installed Google Chrome Frame.
- If Google Chrome Frame is not installed, you can direct your users to an installation page.
- If Google Chrome Frame is installed, it detects the tag you added and works automatically.
