The new Forsyth County Schools Teacher of the Year is given to Robin Neal in this year, she is third grade teacher at Matt Elementary School

“Mrs. Neal can be described as compassionate, creative and caring,” said Charlotte Stalder, her principal. “She engages her students in lessons that are standards based but also fun and exciting for the students. When asked why they thought Neal was the best teacher, her students replied, ‘because we have fun every day’.
She has been teaching as teacher since 1990 and get the 2010 Elementary School TOTY too, not just that she grabbed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson State University, when she was one of the best student of West Alabama University and received her Master degree in Education of School Counseling
“Every day I make contributions to the education of my students,” said Neal. “Being entrusted with the care and education of the children of my community is a responsibility I take very seriously; I know what I do everyday influences the lives of these children.”
Neal will represent Forsyth County in the 2011 Georgia Teacher!
