Fix Purple Screen When Jailbreaking iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad Using JailbreakME

If you are one of those who are facing purple screen issue after jailbreak or when trying to jailbreak your iPad, iPod or iPhone with JailBreakMe 2.0, here’s the solution, the cause of the said problem is because of chunk of cache and history stored inside your Safari browser, thus we need to get rid of them by clearing your browsing history and cache.

How To Fix Purple Screen Problem When Jailbreaking with JailbreakMe 2.0:

  1. Go to Settings –> Safari and then clear out History, Cookies and Cache.
  2. Turn off your device for two minutes then turn it on again.
  3. Now try http://jailbreakme.com or http://jailbreakme.modmyi.com again.

The above instructions will fix purple screen issue and now you can continue to:

    Rumah,

    I am hoping you can help me?I Jailbroke my Ipad 3.2 the other day and it worked after I cleared the Cache. I later read that there was 3.2.1 to help improve Wifi. I also upgraded to the latest Itunes. After my pad reloaded I have been unable to Jailbrake it. After the first screen shot on jailbrakeme.com after starting the process bar goes to to the end and them my pad reverts back to the main screen on the Ipad. I have scoured the Net for a fix and found none. What am I missing?
