Previously this blog posted about Dev Team Is Working On PwnageTool For iPhone 3.1. Now Dev Team has finally launched awaited smart application in order to Jailbreak & unlock iPhone 3G 3.1 firmware from Apple called PwnageTool 3.1, this tool is to handle with the new Apple firmware which is complicating 3GS upgrade process. And so far, PwnageTool 3.1 supports for Mac OS X only and for Windows, just be patient, because Dev Team promises they will release it for Windows OS soon when they got ready.
Dev Team gives an official clarification that currently PwnageTool 3.1 only supports:
- iPhone 1st Generation (2G),
- iPhone 3G and the iPod touch 1G.
- Does not support the 3GS or 2G/3G iPod touch.
