The release is intended to fix several bugs that have been addressed, two of which about proximity sensor problem found on iPhone 4 also the disturbing slowness of previous iOS 4 and 4.0.1 on iPhone 3G. Don’t update to this iOS 4 beta 2 if you are relying on unlock, as it’s containing new baseband for iPhone 3GS, 3G and 4G.
