Downgrade iPhone 3.1 Firmware To 3.0.1/3.0

by Abi on September 15, 2009

In my other post about Downgrade iPhone 3GS 3.1 to iphone 3.0 OS Firmware, I found that many people failed to downgrade their iPhone 3.1 to 3.0 but only few succeeded, therefore to assist iPhone OS 3.1 who wishes to downgrade to 3.1 but so far found nothing that actually works, I provide 1 Youtube video which is covering the matter at hand. Here is the video tutorial to downgrade to the 3.0.1/3.0:

This is proven worked for OS Windows, but may also works too for OS Mac

Many have tried the steps explained in the video, they were able to finally downgraded their iPhone or iPodTouch 3.1 firmware to 3.0.1/3.0, I hope you will be able too.

Still have not been able to make this work and downgrade iPhone from 3.1 down to 3.0 or 3.0.1

I lost my tethering and other stuff… Been working on this for too many hours now. Please help. If you get working will make a donation worth your time.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I did it up until the quickpwn part. quickpwn doesn’t give me the message saying to hold the button for 15 seconds it just goes straight to the connect your device via usb page. PLus my phone has the slider at the bottom on the plug into itunes mode and only allows emergency calls

you already pass thru the QuickPwn step. just connect to iTunes and simply start configuring.

meaning you have start your activation process in iTunes. or you may be able to restore your back up of that phone like all your apps contacts and other stuff.
