Chile Earthquake, the magnitude 8.5 earthquake hit Concepcion in Chile on this Saturday, approximately the size of the earthquake is between 8.3 till 8.5 magnitude. The earthquake strike was so sudden, people were unaware of it! Fox News says that the Chile Earthquake was so strong that could shaking buildings and blackouts in some area of Santiago, Chile’s capital city.
Right after the earthquake strike, Tsunami warning is given for people of Chile and Perlu, also some area in Ecuador according to Warning Center
The Warning Center stated: “An earthquake of this size has the potential to generate a destructive tsunami that can strike coastlines near the epicenter within minutes and more distant coastlines within hours, Reuters News Agency said

Everybody cries “it’s the end of the world,repent or you shall suffer for all eternity” because there happens to have been two large earthquakes within a month of eachother. Certainly it is not a good thing,but to claim it to be the end of the world is foolish. WWI killed approximately 15 million people. It was immediatly followed the spanish flu pandemic which killed approximately 50 million people.If that was not the end of the world than this most certainly isn’t. In comparison,230 000 people have died in Haiti,and 200 in Chile so far.

However, Scientists have spoken about the possible relation between climate change and plate tectonics as early as 2007. I didnt look any farther than that.

Rooster, I think Miguel is referring to Revelations, the last book of the bible, which fortells an increase in frequency and intensity of natural disasters towards to end of the world. I guess it’s a difficult thing to understand second-hand but well worth reading.
WOW! Some very heavy comments guys. I’m from South Africa and havent experienced many(if any) natural disasters in my time. There is no way of knowing whether or not this is the true “end of the world” but if it is then I’m sure we’ll be finding out soon. I do believe in God and it gives me hope. Hope for today. tomorrow and maybe even for the afterlife. Lets all forget about our personal beliefs and preferances and atleast try to hlep or sympathise with the people in Chile.
