Adobe Responds Apple With Full-Page Ad

iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store

title=The ongoing drama between Adobe Vs, Apple is getting not really hot as about 2 weeks a go Steve Jobs wrote an open letter to Adobe explaining his company’s decision regarding the disposal of Flash on Apple’s products (iPad, iPhone and iPod touch).

Steve underlined several factors which lead to the conclusion that there is no reason for its products to keep using Flash.

And today – Adobe came out from its hideout to tell their side of the story through the message of Love and Choice. And the message was publicized in a full-page ad in The Washington post and several others big websites, marking their positions and emphasizing there should be no dictation on what should people create, how and what you can experience on the web.

And Adobe 2 founders, Chuck Geschke and John Warnock, further said on their own open letter:

We believe that consumers should be able to freely access their favorite content and applications, regardless of what computer they have, what browser they like, or what device suits their needs. No company — no matter how big or how creative — should dictate what you can create, how you create it, or what people can experience on the web.

When markets are open, anyone with a great idea has a chance to drive innovation and find new customers. Adobe’s business philosophy is based on a premise that, in an open market, the best products will win in the end — and the best way to compete is to create the best technology and innovate faster than your competitors.

The letter was concluded with “a reminding message” indirectly to Apple that there is no single person nor company who controls World Wide Web but everybody does!
